Well, if anything, I’d start by explain how there’s more than one gender. There isn’t just male and females. There are intersex-ed people, two-spirits and other genders that can be more researched into. Once that’s out of the way, you can say that you’re not limiting yourself to just guys and girls like some bisexuals do (Not to offend them, of course.) but more, accepting everyone as they are. The main reason people confuse Pansexuality for Bisexuality is because a lot of people don’t know that there is more than one gender or that (some) trans* males and trans* females consider their gender to be differently entirely. I think maybe if you approach it with the ‘There’s more than one gender’ approach, it shouldn’t take AS long. It might, but it’s just another way to approach it. Tell me how it goes.
